Description
Menorrhagia or excessive menstrual bleeding involves abnormalities in the biochemical processes of the endometrium (lining of the uterus). Woman that are susceptible to menorrhagia concentrate the fatty acid, arachidonic acid, to a much larger extent than normal. Arachidonic acid is involved in the production of Series 2 prostaglandins which are thought to be a major factor in excessive bleeding and menstrual cramps.
Treatment is aimed at reducing the levels of prostaglandins and relieving the symptoms.
The flavonoids in shepherds purse, together with hesperidin, quercetin, feverfew, rutin and citrus bioflavonoids inhibit the formation of Series 2 prostaglandins from arachidonic acid; vitamin A, vitamin E, grape seed and zinc restore the integrity of the endometrium

“Shepherds Purse to the rescue!

Shepherds Purse Complex is amazing. I’m 50 and still have my menses anywhere between 7 to 10 days and very heavy flow. On taking Shepherds purse it pretty much stopped it in its tracks. I did not have the loss of iron like I normally do and therefore cruised through the month. I’m quite intrigued if a natural supplement can do that, what else is it rectifying in my system.
