Description
Candida albicans is a yeast (or fungus) that occurs naturally in the gastrointestinal tract. Overgrowth of the organism can occur due to a compromised immune system, damage to the lining of the intestinal tract or prolonged anti-biotic use, and can lead to a whole variety of symptoms, such as chronic fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, food intolerances, “brain fog” and others.
Treatment is aimed at preventing overgrowth by keeping levels of the organism in check, aiding the immune system and restoring the integrity of the digestive tract. .
The formula provides ingredients such as sodium caprylate, golden seal and olive leaf which help to reduce levels of the yeast, beta glucan and vitamin C to boost the immune system and lactobacillus to repopulate the colon with healthy flora.
